资源简介:
This document presents a novel hypothesis regarding the role of life in the thermodynamic processes of the universe. It posits that life, through its complexity, self-replication, and ability to generate gradients of energy, accelerates the process of entropy dissipation in a more efficient manner than non-living systems. This paper suggests that life acts not just as an exception to the increasing chaos described by the second law of thermodynamics, but as a mechanism that enhances the dispersion of energy in the cosmos, thereby fulfilling a fundamental role in the universe's drive toward maximum entropy.
