The addition of LC notably reduced bacterial diversity, increased Lentilactobacillus abundance, and diminished Proteobacteria presence. Further, the additions of LAB and LC significantly enhanced amino acid metabolism compared to CE and CK groups. Conversely, pathways associated with beta-lactam resistance, flagellar assembly, and ascorbate and aldarate metabolism were significantly suppressed.
