Pliocene calcareous nannofossil biostratigraphy and assemblage records from ODP Site 1264 (Leg 208)

This dataset presents Pliocene records of calcareous nannofossil bioevents and assemblage changes from Ocean Drilling Program Site 1264 (South Atlantic). The study interval spans from ~5 to 3 million years before present. The dataset includes: Calcareous nannofossil counts, relative and absolute abundances, relative CaCO3 mass contributions and accummulation rates (Table 1). Total biogenic CaCO3 and coarse fraction accummulation rate estimates (Table 2). Information regarding calcareous nannofossil biostratigraphic markers and reported bioevents (Table 3, 4).
