Streptomyces nodularis is known as the only manufacturer of amphotericin B, which is an effective drug used to treat fungal infections. We conducted the first complete transcriptome analysis of Streptomyces nodosa ZJB2016050, using RNA sequencing technology to analyze the growth of cells grown in beef extract medium, cottonseed meal medium, and medium with and without calcium chloride.
