A price survey of a fixed-line phone set across the nation revealed that the average price in December 2021 was 22,458 yen. Over the period from January 2015 to December 2021 (a span of 84 months), the highest price for fixed-line phones in supermarkets nationwide was recorded in April 2019 at 23,956 yen, while the lowest price was in May 2015 at 15,092 yen. The price difference between the peak (April 2019) and the lowest (May 2015) price periods for fixed-line phones across the national area was 8,863.851 yen.
