Lateolabrax maculatus Genome sequencing and assembly

As a valuable commercial fish, the spotted sea bass (Lateolabrax maculatus) is widely cultured in China. It is little known about the genetic and genomic information of L. maculatus. Here we report high-depth genome sequencing, assembly, and annotation for a spotted sea bass. The genomic sequences will provide a valuable resource for aquaculture of spotted sea bass.
