These videos depict the transport of fluorescent dextran injected into a collagen hydrogen under the constant or pulsatile pressure actuation by acellular or vascularized neighboring channels. Dextran is seen evacuating the ROI either by ejection through the central channel or lateral displacement. In acellular devices, both pulsaitile and constant actuation produce similar rates of tracer displacement and evacuation, whereas in vasculariced devices, pulsations produced a 1.3-flod faster tracer clearance than constant actuation.
