Database of economic mechanisms for wildfire mitigation

This database has been designed to collect information on different examples of market based mechanisms promoting fire mitigation among land managers in the world. The aim is to provide a list of case studies at global level that bring different examples of economic incentives to reduce the risk of wildfires. This database is part of Task 3.1 in WP3 of the FIRE-RES project and has been used to prepare a policy brief (D3.1) and scientific publication
