Differentially expressed genes in the heart tissues between wildtype control and the ttna+/- heterozygous knockout zebrafish

To seek the potential molecular mechanisms altered in ttna+/- heterozygous knockout zebrafish, we performed whole transcriptome RNA-sequencing experiments using heart tissues isolated from ttna+/- and WT control zebrafish at sx months of age. Overall design: Total RNA was extracted from the heart tissues of six-month-old ttna+/- heterozygous mutant hearts and WT sibling controls. Genes were considered to be differentially expressed between the two groups if they exhibited a greater than 2-fold change and an False Discovery Rate (FDR) of less than 0.05 according to the DESeq approach.
