VPRS 9891 Wage and Salary Determinations

The Public Service Board (VA 886) determined the salaries and wages and terms and conditions of service or employment in the public service. This power extended to classification of any office or work, prescription of classes or grades and scales of salary or wages to be paid and prescription of annual increments, etc. (Section 39 of the Public Service Act 1946, (No 5124).This series comprises copies of the Public Service Boards wages and salary determinations for the period 1956 to 1979.This series appears to be a reference set of wages and salary determinations of the Board used by the Inspectors of the Board.
