Sustainable Recreation Development within Dial Range #1

Dial Range covers 5,200 hectares, of which the Parks and Wildlife Service manage 335 hectares of State Reserve. The Reserve is a prominent land feature providing recreational, tourism, water catchment, flora and fauna conservation, and landscape values for the community. The project site is within a high use recreational area, with walking and mountain bike tracks, and public access will be improved through track maintenance and signage. The Team will undertake a wide range of tasks, which will be supported by formal and informal training. These works will create a greater appreciation of the natural values of the area, which will assist in the ongoing protection/conservation of important threatened species and their habitats.
