This data repository contains all raw data and relevant data sets for the preprint / publication "Desmodium Volatiles in ``Push-Pull'' Agriculture and Protection Against the Fall Armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda" written by Daria M. Odermatt, Frank Chidawanyika, Daniel M. Mutyambai, Bernhard Schmid, Luiz A. Domeignoz-Horta, Amanuel Tamiru and Meredith C. Schuman.The data is subdivided in three sections:

VolatileSampling: Contains all raw data files measured by TD-GC-MS of Desmodium intortum, D. incanum and maize headspaces, as well as parameters used for the untargeted analysis in MZmine, Version 3.9.0. (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41587-023-01690-2) and the parameters for the peak integration with the software LabSolutions Insight (Shimadzu corporation, Kyoto, Japan).

OvipositionBioassay: Contains all counts of egg batches and photographs of collected eggs, as well as the summarized csv files used for the statistical analysis.

WindtunnelBioassay: All data collected during the observations of the wind tunnel bioassays.
