Diatom, barium, and hopane data from sediment cores collected in the Louisiana Bight, 1997

Five sediment cores were collected in the Louisiana Bight in April 1997. Diatom remains (valves) were identified and enumerated at various sediment depths. Barium and hopane data from the associated horizons are also included, as well as contemporaneous nitrogen inputs from the Mississippi River.
