Genome wide analysis of the lower lumbar spinal cord at 4 days after T9 hemisection injury

The goal of this study is to elucidate the influence of hemisection injury at thoracic spinal cord (T9) on the transcriptome of the lower lumbar spinal cord at acute phase. mRNA profiles of spinal cord at 4 days-post injury and before injury were generated. 72 Differentially Expressed Genes (DEGs) were observed. Our study represents the detailed analysis of transcriptomes of spinal cord distal to the hemisected lesion at acute phase, with biologic replicates, generated by RNA-seq technology.

本研究旨在阐明胸段脊髓(T9)半切损伤对急性期腰段下段脊髓转录组的影响。本研究生成了损伤前及损伤后4天的脊髓mRNA表达谱,共鉴定得到72个差异表达基因(Differentially Expressed Genes, DEGs)。本研究采用RNA测序(RNA-seq)技术完成了包含生物学重复的实验,对急性期半切损伤灶远端脊髓的转录组进行了详细分析。
