资源简介:
The data is collected at one Georgia Tech (GT) instrumented trailer and one University of Central Florida (UCF) instrumented trailer located at different locations (shown in the locations information) from February 9 till 11, 2024. Trailer was set in the mentioned locations based on the planned burns of units E16.2 and E16.3 on February 10. This data was collected to improve the characterization of Ozone (O3) and Particulate matter (PM) formation in prescribed fire plumes through measurement.Particulate matter with aerodynamic diameters less than 2.5 µm (PM2.5) mass was measured using a Tapered Element Oscillating Microbalance (TEOM) series 1400a ambient particulate monitor (Thermo Fisher Scientific) and Black carbon (BC) concentration was measured using a 7-wavelength aethalometer model AE31 and AE33 (Magee Scientific). Carbon monoxide (CO) was measured using IR analyzer (Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, model 48C). O3 was measured using UV analyzer (Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, model 49C). Nitrogen oxides (NOx) was measured using Chemiluminescence analyzer (Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, 42i).This dataset is part of the Wildland Fire Science Initiative (WFSI) research burn campaign held at Fort Stewart from 2-8-2024 to 2-10-2024. In addition, pre- and post-fire data collection occurred before and after these dates. See the most recent version of the contextual dataset “Fort Stewart 2024: Contextual data for Wildland Fire Science Initiative (WFSI) Research Burn Campaign” for more information about the campaign (see Annotations section for hasMetadata link).
