BIOMASS CHIPPING， SHREDDING， DECORTICATING APPARATUS

The chipping-shredding-decorticating apparatus includes a housing assembly， two inlets， the chipping inlet and shredding-decorticating inlet. The chipping inlet is used to chip hard and long biomass materials. On the other hand the shredding-decorticating inlet is suitable for rounded， short， soft， and succulent materials to be shredded or decorticated. A chipping disc that is fixed to the shaft is relatively thick metal plate has front and rear generally planar faces or sides. The front side of the chipping disc interfaces on to the chipping inlet and carries plurality of radially extending knife blades in diametrically opposed relation relative to each other. Each knife blade is positively secured adjacent to the slot so as to form internal passageways leading from the feed side to the opposite side of the chipping disc. A series of fix blades are mounted in uniform axially spaced relation and are rigidly secured. A series of uniformly arranged holes are formed within the fix blades. The holes are aligned to receive a plurality of rod which extends axially through the segment of the fix blades. A plurality of tubular spacer placed in between said fix blades secured by said plurality of rods. A series of blades that is spaced equally and rigidly attached to the tubular spacer so that the flail blades are free to swing. A detachable grated screen is installed at the outlet chute will improve the uniformity of the particle sizes that will be chipped and shredded. The grated screen is preferably same curvature with the periphery of the lower housing.
