This dataset was recorded with a sensor-enhanced ballpoint pen, producing sensor data streams from a triaxial accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and force sensor at a sampling rate of 100 Hz. The dataset contains equations and words for both writer-dependent and writer-independent tasks, allowing for comparisons of classic online handwriting recognition when using the sensor-enhanced pen on both tablet devices and paper.
