Pathogenic ecology and molecular epidemiology of viruses carried by beef cattle

In this project aims to establish a database of beef cattle viruses in Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia by performing viral macro-genomics on nasal and anal swab samples from Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia beef cattle swabs. Beef cattle viruses were analysed ecologically, including geographic location, breeding mode, and feeding season. At the same time, molecular epidemiological investigations of important viruses as well as virus isolation were carried out.
