Data relating to: <b>Bacteria isolated from biodiverse Mediterranean island habitats yield a large array of biopesticidal metabolites against mosquito larvae</b>

All results pertaining to the screening of over 700 bacterial isolates taken from terrestrial habitats in Crete, Greece. Eventually through high throughput screening of live cells, 38 were selected for intensive interrogation as potential biopesticides using <i>Culex pipiens molestus </i>as the model mosquito larvae for trials. Sonicates, alongside polar and non-polar preferential extractions, were used to interrogate the efficacy of the isolates, with three key organisms providing highly potent larvicidal action.
