资源简介:
This dataset supports the manuscript titled "External Validation of the SCARE Score for Predicting Acute Myocardial Infarction in Patients Calling Emergency Medical Communication Centers: A Prospective Multicenter Study". It contains standardized clinical and demographic data collected from 2,042 patients who called one of four French Emergency Medical Communication Centers (EMCCs: Angers, Orléans, Poitiers, and Tours) for non-traumatic chest pain between October 1, 2019, and February 25, 2020.Data Generation processingData Collection: The data were collected prospectively during emergency calls by trained EMCC dispatchers using a blinded standardized form (not showing SCARE score values). The form included:Demographic information: Age, gender, smoking status.Clinical symptoms: Pain characteristics (suggestive of myocardial ischemia, inaugural pain), sweating, dispatcher’s assessment of AMI likelihood.Outcome data: Diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), confirmed through hospital records and reviewed by an independent cardiologist using the Fourth Universal Definition of Myocardial Infarction (2018).SCARE Score Calculation: The SCARE score was calculated retrospectively for each patient based on the following variables:Male gender (10 points)Age (13 points for 43–57 years, 15 points for >57 years)Smoking status (8 points)Pain suggestive of myocardial ischemia (6 points)Inaugural pain (5 points)Sweating (7 points)Dispatcher’s conviction of AMI (11 points)Data Processing: The dataset was cleaned to remove incomplete entries and cross-verified with hospital records to confirm AMI diagnoses. Statistical analyses were performed using R software (version 4.0.2).Temporal and Geographical ScopeTemporal Scope: Data were collected over a 5-month period (October 1, 2019–February 25, 2020).Geographical Scope: The study included patients from four EMCCs in France (Angers, Orléans, Poitiers, Tours).Dataset structureThe dataset is provided as a CSV file (Stat_scare.csv)Data QualityMissing Data: Less than 1% of the dataset contains missing values, primarily due to incomplete dispatcher assessments. Missing data were not imputed and are marked as "." in the CSV file.Data Errors: No systematic errors were identified. Outliers were cross-verified with hospital records to ensure accuracy.Reuse of DataThis dataset can be reused for:Validation of prehospital risk scores for AMI or other cardiac events.Comparative studies on dispatcher assessment accuracy.Development of machine learning models for predicting AMI in prehospital settings.Sex-based analyses of AMI prediction tools (the dataset includes gender-specific data).Citation RequestIf you reuse this dataset, please cite the associated manuscript: Garrouste V, Guerineau A, Moumneh T, et al.
