Klebsiella pneumoniae from bloodstream infections

This is a prospective sample of 108 clinical isolates of Klebsiella (mostly Klebsiella pneumoniae) from bloodstream infections (BSI) of hospitalized individuals at Massachusetts General Hospital. We sought to understand the clinical factors impacting Klebsiella BSI in this cohort and the genomic diversity and antimicrobial resistance genes of these isolates.
