VPRS 11482 Record of Teachers Admitted to Teachers College

There are three separate lists contained in the record. The first, students previously admitted to the Teachers College (before 1938), is found on the first two folios of the register. The listing includes record number, name of student, course (Primary or Infant), and remarks (usually a date stamp of 31 DEC 1938).From folio five to folio sixteen there is a list of students admitted in 1938. The listing includes record number, name, date admitted (9.2.38), date of birth, former school number, course (Primary, Secondary or Domestic Arts) and any remarks (as above, but sometimes a registration number, eg. 38/2356, 40 pounds advanced, 31 DEC 1938).From folio nineteen there is a list of Student Instructors in Technical Schools. This documents record number, name, course and the date they commenced instructing.
