Phenology-calibrated agroclimatic hazard dataset for winter rye, winter wheat and spring barley in Estonia (1965–2024)

This dataset accompanies the manuscript A phenology-calibrated framework for long-term crop-specific agroclimatic hazard assessment. It contains annual crop-specific agroclimatic hazard indices calculated from daily meteorological observations collected at 19 meteorological stations in Estonia during 1965–2024. The repository includes: • annual crop-specific hazard indices for all stations, crops and exposure windows (CSV) • phenologically calibrated crop exposure windows (CSV) • variable descriptions (CSV) • Python source code used for hazard calculations • documentation (README) • licence information The hazard indicators include heat stress (HSI), compound heat–drought events (CHD), prolonged drought (DroughtRisk), prolonged wet conditions (WetRisk) and heavy rainfall (HeavyRainRisk). The dataset is intended to support reproducibility of the accompanying manuscript and reuse of the proposed hazard assessment framework.
