miRNA, as a class of small non-coding RNA molecules, regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. Their regulatory role in vertebrates involves growth, development, immunity and other life activities. Calcium metabolism is one of the important manifestations of bone metabolism, and miRNA also play an indispensable role in its molecular regulatory network. In order to explore the role of miRNA in the regulation of fish bone metabolism, Salmon calcitonin(sCT), a key regulatory factor of calcium metabolism in trout, was used in this study. Intraperitoneal injection was performed on Oncorhynchus mykiss, and the squamous tissue was collected 24h later. High-throughput sequencing technology and bioinformatics methods were used to analyze the miRNA expression profile of the squamous tissue.
