Transcriptome analysis of SH-SY5Y cells after overexpression of TMEM144. We overexpressed the expression levels of TMEM144 in the human neuroblastoma cell line (SH-SY5Y) by pcDNA3.1(+)-TMEM144 vectors. 48 h post-overexpression the cells were harvested, RNA extracted with Trizol and polyA+ libraries were generated with Illumina's TruSeq RNA Library Prep Kit v2. We find many significant changes in the transcriptomic profile after overexpression of TMEM144 and the induction of many genes connected to energy metabolism and oxidative phosphorylation pathway.
