This statistic displays the response of individuals when asked 'when do you think you should stop taking antibiotics once you have begun a course of treatment' in Belgium in 2018. Antibiotics are medications that can kill or hinder the growth of bacteria which cause infections in people and animals. In this year, 82 percent of respondents in Belgium believed you should take all of the antibiotics as directed, this is below the European Union average at 84 percent. 17 percent of respondents in Belgium believed that you should stop taking the antibiotics when you feel better.
