Single-nucleus RNA-seq of porcine pancreas from PAX4 knockout and wild-type piglets

Background: PAX4 is a key endocrine lineage regulator and is implicated in diabetes susceptibility.Study design: Pancreatic tissue was collected from Sus scrofa piglets including PAX4 knockout and wild-type/control animals. Single-nucleus RNA sequencing libraries were generated using [10x Genomics Chromium / other] and sequenced on [Illumina instrument].Data: This BioProject includes raw sequencing reads (FASTQ) for each library and associated sample metadata.Goal: To profile pancreatic cell-type composition and transcriptional changes associated with PAX4 loss-of-function in pigs.
