Monitoring of rheumatoid arthritis: a patient survey on disease insight and possible added value of an innovative inflammation monitoring device

A digital survey held by researchers of the University of Twente among a convenience sample of 408 patients with rheumatoid arthritis in the Netherlands in the period of June-August 2020. The survey consists of 31 questions - both closed and open-ended - and covers 3 topics: current monitoring process of inflammatory activity, preceived added value of a new monitoring device (the HandScan), and patients' perspective on future participation of patients in research projects. Both people with and without experience with the new device were included.

本数据集由屯特大学（University of Twente）研究者于2020年6月至8月在荷兰地区开展，针对便利抽样招募的408名类风湿关节炎患者实施数字化问卷调查。问卷共计31道问题，涵盖封闭式与开放式两种题型，覆盖三大研究主题：当前炎症活动监测流程、新型监测设备HandScan的感知附加价值，以及患者对未来参与科研项目的态度与视角。研究纳入了具备该新型设备使用经验与无相关使用经验的患者群体。
