资源简介:
The aims of this project were to determine the distribution of sympatric lucinid bivalves (Ctena orbiculata, Lucinisca nassula, Codakia orbicularis, Anodontia alba, Parvilucina costata, Radiolucina amianta) on a carbonate tidal flat, to assess the diversity of their (endo)symbiont communities, as well as to characterize the free-living bacterial diversity from pore waters and sediments associated with mixed seagrasses and green and red algal species. Sampling took place in July 2016 at Sammy Creek Landing on Sugarloaf Key, Florida. Total nucleic acids were extracted from sediment, water, and the lucinid gills and feet. The V4 region of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene was amplified by PCR (with primers 515/806) and sequenced on a MiSeq Illumina platform.
