资源简介:
This data report provides a comprehensive inventory and screening of multi-sensor remote sensing data available for the Mackenzie Arctic Delta for the period 1990–2023. The compilation was carried out within the NCN OPUS 27 project “Arctic deltas as sponges: How do river deltaic plains now filter and trap sediment and carbon?”.The data report includes information on satellite missions and sensors (optical and radar), such as acquisition periods, spatial and temporal resolution, coverage extent, and data accessibility. Particular emphasis is placed on datasets relevant for analysing hydrological connectivity, sediment transport, and associated biogeochemical processes in Arctic delta environments. The data report documents:an inventory of satellite data sources (e.g. optical imagery, SAR data),metadata describing acquisition parameters (time range, resolution, revisit time),spatial coverage of datasets for the Mackenzie Delta, data availability and access conditions, limitations related to Arctic environments (e.g. cloud cover, ice conditions, seasonal variability),preliminary assessment of data suitability for monitoring water flow pathways, sediment fluxes, and nutrient transport. The data report serves as a reference framework for selecting appropriate remote sensing data in studies of Arctic river deltas and supports further integration with field-based observations and numerical modelling.
