Foreperiod Neural Activity Recordings from Ventral Premotor (VPC), Dorsal Premotor (DPC), and Secondary Somatosensory (S2) Cortices

This dataset contains neural activity recorded during the foreperiod in three cortical areas of macaque monkeys: the ventral premotor cortex (VPC), dorsal premotor cortex (DPC), and secondary somatosensory cortex (S2). Each session folder includes the spike time occurrences, trial correspondence, waveform data, and two UMAP embeddings generated using custom Python code available in our GitHub repository: https://github.com/d-suarez-b/UMAP-Dimensionality-Reduction-for-Spike-Sorting-Analysis. Additionally, sorted neural activity obtained through both UMAP-based and PCA-based spike sorting methods can be found in the Sorted_Final subdirectories. The repository also includes the code used to generate the cumulative probability curves shown in Figure 4 of the associated manuscript, as well as a README file providing a detailed explanation of the dataset structure and contents.
