Raw dataset of light control effects on semen proteomic of the red-winged tinamou

These data show profile proteomic of sperm and seminal plasma of red-winged tinamou (Rhynchotus rufescens) under the effects of light (natural light for controls versus 16 hours of light and 8 hours of darkness in treated birds), during of reproductive season. 20 males were randomly allocated to be Control (n = 10) or Artificial light (n = 10) groups. To sperm proteomics was used one sample from 10 birds (6 Control and 4 Artificial light groups) and for proteomics of seminal plasma were used two pools prepared with same samples from Artificial light group, the samples of the Control group had an insufficient volume to perform the proteomics. For this reason, the proteomics of seminal plasma was descriptive. Sperm and seminal plasma samples were individually prepared for proteomics (ESI Q-TOF MS/MS).
