More tropical cyclones striking continental coasts at peak intensity

This repository provides the data and Python scripts used in Wu and Fu's study, 'More tropical cyclones striking continental coasts at peak intensity.' Key datasets include IBTrACS-derived annual variability of landfall intensification and tropical cyclones striking coasts at peak intensity. It also features ERA5-calculated environmental parameters (humidity, shear, MPI, vorticity, and GPI) and CMIP6 climate model simulations across various forcing scenarios. Users can run the provided scripts to reproduce the figures presented in the manuscript.
