Results of archaeobotanical analysis and radiocarbon (AMS) dating of plant macroremains from prehistoric barrows in the Silesian loess zone (project: Geoarchaeology of buried soils. Transformations of soilscapes in the Silesian loess zone as indicators of prehistoric land-use)

<p><span style="font-size:12.04px">Thirteen prehistoric barrows (Neolithic, Early Medieval and possibly Bronze Age)  located in the loess zone in Silesia (SW Poland), were investigated during the project Geoarchaeology of buried soils. Transformations of soilscapes in the Silesian loess zone as indicators of prehistoric land-use. The report presents the results of archaeobotanical analysis of samples collected from soils buried beneath the barrow mounds and from the mounds themselves. Additionally, radiocarbon dates (AMS) for selected charred botanical specimens are provided.</span><br /></p>
