The World Census of Agriculture (WCA) is a global agricultural data collection initiative launched by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), which provides support and guidance for national agricultural censuses. This database collects key agricultural data covering agricultural land, land use, irrigation, livestock, labor and other aspects, providing critical information for agricultural planning, policy formulation, research and development, and environmental impact monitoring. Since its first implementation in 1930, WCA has evolved into a century-old international agricultural statistical standard, currently covering approximately 130 countries.
