NSW road safety progress report : for the NSW Parliament 2014/2015 activities

This report assesses the progress that we have made during 2014/2015 with a record of our activities in the last financial year. We have achieved this progress by maintaining existing partnerships and building new ones. The NSW 2014 road toll was the lowest on record and although the result in 2015 was disappointing, with 41 more fatalities than 2014, it was still the third lowest annual rate ever. We are working hard to further reduce the number of fatalities and serious injuries — through record investment, innovation and technology, mammoth infrastructure activity, improved legislation, high visibility enforcement and education.\n\n**Note:** This resource was originally published on opengov.nsw.gov.au.
