Dataset for standard vs reverse bCFS
收藏资源简介:
The R script (cfs2_Rscript.R) reproduces all data preprocessing, quality checks, confirmatory equivalence tests (TOST), linear mixed-effects models (LMMs), exploratory analyses, and figures reported in the manuscript "Examining Conscious and Unconscious Processing of Facial Attractiveness Using Standard and Reverse Breaking Continuous Flash Suppression." To run the script in one shot, ensure R (version 4.3+) is installed along with the required packages (tidyverse, readr, jsonlite, purrr, lme4, lmerTest, rstatix, TOSTER, corrplot, ggthemes, and ggpubr). Unzip the participant data archive so that all bCFS trial logs (.csv) and survey response files (.json) are located in a single folder, uncomment Line 15 in cfs2_Rscript.R to set data_dir to that folder path, and execute the script. Doing so populates the workspace with the following outputs corresponding to the manuscript and supplementary materials: - Quality checks and preprocessing: n_raw, n_final, and n_dropped (sample counts before and after exclusions); practice_id_contrasts (sighting eye-dominance contrasts); acc_asymmetry and var_asymmetry (response criterion drift checks); shap.df (Shapiro-Wilk normality tests); and csv_df_cook (Cook's distance outlier-removed dataset).- Confirmatory TOST analyses (Table 2): tost_results and tost_results_res (one-sample and paired TOST summaries against .3 Cohen's d bounds for H1, H2, and H3.- Sensitivity LMM analyses (Table 3): lmm_summary_df and lmm_results (trial-level mixed-effects models predicting log-transformed transition times across full and outlier-removed datasets).Figures (Figure 3 and Supplement 5): Line 736 generates the three-panel Figure 3 combining transition-time boxplots and TOST confidence intervals, while RT.histograms generates the Supplement 5 histograms.- Exploratory and demographic summaries (Supplements 4, 6, 7, and 8): demo_df (Supplement 4 participant characteristics), anova_results and binary_results_df (Supplement 6 primary attraction ANOVAs and sexual orientation Welch's t-tests), cor.all (Supplement 7 z-normalized correlation matrices), and orientation_profiles (Supplement 8 sexual orientation classifications).
