Characterization of E13.5 forelimb gene expression after Hic1 knockout

To investigate the effect of the mesenchymal quiescence regulator, Hic1, on forelimb development, we collected forelimbs from conventional Hic1 knockout animals to animals with a limb specific Hic1 knockout driven by the proposed limb mesenchyme specific Prrx1-Cre line. Overall design: We then homogenized the forelimbs for RNAseq analysis and normalized by FPKM. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data from animals using two knockout strategies to delete Hic1.
