FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the woodworking industry， in particular to the plywood production. Device for making plywood includes lower rigid plate (2)， in which channels (3) are made for suction of air and creation of vacuum. Above the plate there is box (4)， to the bottom of which elastic diaphragm (5) is attached along the perimeter. Inside the box there is a mechanical linear drive in the form of a pair of ball-screw guides (7)， on which a carriage with box-type cross-section (6) waveguide mounted on it and a source of electromagnetic field of ultrahigh frequencies is fixed. After creation of vacuum in working chamber with discharge of 0.04…0.08??MPa processing of veneer pack (1) processed by ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic field. Box-type cross-section waveguide is moved above glued pack by means of pair of hinged-helical guides during whole period of gluing. Directivity of the electromagnetic field is oriented perpendicular to planes of the adhesive layers. EFFECT: loss of wood raw materials from pressing of plywood is reduced， quality of manufactured products is increased， power consumption is reduced. 2 cl， 1 dwg
