This dataset includes the data for a study investigating the neurotoxicity of a human-relevant metabolite, 2,2',5,5'-tetrachlorobiphenyl-4-ol (4-52), in male adolescent Sprague Dawley rats following a 28-day exposure via a novel polymeric implant delivery system grafted subcutaneously. The total 4-52 loading concentrations of the implants were 0, 1, 5, and 10% by weight. The dataset provides bulk RNA sequencing results, including the count table for each gene and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the striatum and cerebellum, the metabolomics results in the serum, dopamine and metabolites levels in the striatum, and 4-52 and metabolites levels in the serum and brain.
