Phenomena measured include: depth, sources of freshwater inflow and pollution, bottom characteristics, current direction and speed, surface and bottom temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen, water clarity, sediment size and organic composition (phase I) and seagrass blade counts and polychaete specimens (phase II).
