Liver cancer is a major health concern with a high incidence rate and poor prognosis, and radioresistance is a major challenge in its treatment. Understanding the genetic and transcriptomic basis of radioresistance in liver cancer can help identify potential therapeutic targets and improve treatment outcomes. Whole genome sequencing (WGS) is a powerful tool for identifying genetic mutations and can provide comprehensive information on the genetic basis of radiation resistance and sensitivity. The objective of this proposed study is to identify major mutations in a radioresistant liver cancer cell line using sequencing-based genomic and transcriptomic analyses.
