资源简介:
Bertie worked as a baker in Norwich at Bassinwaith's Stores and at other locations. At his time of conscription he was baking in the Suffolk village of Rickinghall, he left behind five children. The youngest was due to be Christened on his father's next leave. My aunt told me that my grandmother was holding the baby, when she received the notification of her husband's death, she passed the baby to her daughter and fainted.
