In order to better understand the biology of adult schistosomes, we performed single-cell RNAseq on adult male, adult sexually-mature female, and adult virgin female parasites. Overall design: Adult parasites were dissociated then live, single cells were sorted by FACS. Single-cell RNAseq libraries were generated from these cells, then these libraries were sequenced. Further data processing was carried out in Seurat as desribed in the associated manuscript.
