OverviewTheWorldHealthOrganization(WHO)recommendsthatallcountriesconsiderimplementinganinfluenzavaccinationprogrammeorincludeinfluenzavaccinationintheirnationalimmunizationprogramme.TheSeasonalinfluenzavaccinationpolicybrief:developingandstrengtheningnationalprogrammesoutlineskeycomponentsofarobustinfluenzavaccinationpolicyandhighlightsusefulresources.Itisintendedtosupportnationaldecision-makers,membersofnationalimmunizationtechnicaladvisorygroups(NITAGs)andtechnicalfocalpointsindevelopingorstrengtheningtheirnationalinfluenzavaccinationpoliciesandprogrammes.ThispolicybriefcomplementsthetechnicalresourcesfoundintheWHOseasonalinfluenzavaccinationtoolkit.
