<i>Populus alba</i> × <i>P. glandulosa</i> clone 84K is widely cultivated and used as a model tree in the molecular research of woody plants because it is very easy for gene transformation. In this study, we performed PacBio sequencing and assembled the genome with a size of 781.36 Mb (mega base).

银白杨（*Populus alba*）× 腺毛杨（*P. glandulosa*）84K无性系被广泛栽培，且因极易实现基因转化，而成为木本植物分子研究领域的模式树种。本研究采用PacBio测序技术完成测序，并组装得到基因组大小为781.36 Mb（兆碱基）。
