Standardized mock microbial communities composed of multiple bacterial species. Raw sequence reads.

This project contains sequencing data from ZymoBIOMICS Fecal Reference with TruMatrix technology and ZymoBIOMICS Gut Microbiome Standard mock communities processed using four DNA extraction kits (Zymo Quick-DNA HMW MagBead, QIAGEN QIAamp DNA Microbiome, MACHEREY-NAGEL NucleoMag DNA Microbiome, and EURx GeneMAGNET Soil DNA Purification). Amplicon libraries targeting the 16S rRNA gene V3-V4 region and full-length 16S rRNA gene were sequenced using Illumina MiSeq and Oxford Nanopore MinION platforms to benchmark 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing workflows.
