Gene profiling of lung cancer associated with interstitial pneumonia using next-generation sequencing

"Patients with interstitial pneumonia have a high incidence of lung cancer. Lung cancer complicated by interstitial pneumonia is often difficult to treat due to the risk of low lung function and acute exacerbation. In this study, we will perform clinical sequencing of tumor and surrounding tissues from clinical specimens to explore the molecular biological characteristics and therapeutic targets of lung cancer complicated by interstitial pneumonia. After patient information is collected from medical records, tumor tissues are used to analyze gene expression using a next-generation sequencer.Gene expression in lung cancer without interstitial pneumonia has already been reported, and we search for characteristic changes in lung cancer complicated by interstitial pneumonia by comparing them. In the future, we aim to develop new therapeutic strategies for lung cancer complicated by interstitial pneumonia, for which therapeutic intervention is difficult."
