资源简介:
Algae-bacterial interactions were found to be important component as potential regulators in the sense of decreasing algal blooming. A bacterial YWL01 can attach to and cause lysis of Skeletonema costatum, which is one of the notorious bloom-forming diatoms. 16S rDNA sequence (1266 bp) of YWL01 shares highest similarity (97.63%) to Marinobacter adhaerens HP15, a newly identified strain, which showed specific attachment in viro to the surface of the diatom cells, Thalassiosira weissflogii and aggregate formation and thus generating marine snow particles. The 16S rRNA gene similarity was found to be below the threshold value (98.5%) for species characterization, and YWL01 shows algicidal character while HP15 not. Hence, YWL01 may be a novel species of genus Marinobacter.
