RNA-seq profiling of fibroblasts isolated from two distinct lung metastases stages and from normal lungs

We found that fibroblasts derived from lung metastases display specific gene signatures related to distinct functional enrichments, including stress, ECM remodelling, and inflammation. Overall design: Fibroblasts were isolated from lungs of MMTV-PyMT;Col1a1-YFP mice at defined metastatic stages (micro-metastases, macro-metastases), and from age-matched normal control mice (FVB/n;Col1a1-YFP mice). RNA was isolated and RNA-seq was performed.
